# Product management resources

May 21, 2025 by Jade Rubick

[#product-management](https://www.rubick.com/tags/product-management/)

I wanted to share some resources for product managers. Especially to highlight communities that product managers can participate in. This list is less complete than other lists you’ll find (such as [this example](https://joshua.herzig-marx.com/pm-resources)), and something I’ll update periodically.

## Online communities

- [Lenny’s Slack Community](https://www.lennysnewsletter.com/p/community) (paid).
- [Rand’s Leadership Slack](https://randsinrepose.com/welcome-to-rands-leadership-slack/) #product-management channel. They also have a #product-management-donut to randomly pair you with other PMs to talk shop and pick people’s brains.
- [Women in Product](https://womenpm.org/join-our-community/)
- You can often find others to form a local group of people to meet up with. You might go to a community like [MindTheProduct](https://www.mindtheproduct.com/product-management-slack-community/) to try and find local people to network with.

## Newsletters

- [Lenny’s Newsletter](https://www.lennysnewsletter.com/)
- [John Cutler](https://cutlefish.substack.com), also on LinkedIn. More about the nuance and complexity of product management.

## Podcasts

- [Lenny’s Podcast](https://www.lennysnewsletter.com/podcast)

## Articles

- [Product management start here](https://www.svpg.com/product-management-start-here/) by Marty Cagan

## People

- [Marty Cagan](https://www.svpg.com) author of several books on product management.
- [Teresa Torres](https://www.svpg.com/product-management-start-here/) well known for product discovery topics. Author of Continuous Discovery Habits.
- [Shreyas Doshi](https://www.linkedin.com/in/shreyasdoshi/)

## Books

- Good strategy, bad strategy
- Competing against luck

## Feedback

Let me know if you think I’ve overlooked anything major.

## Thank you

I like to share what I’ve learned. If you’re running into something like this at your company, [I’m happy to talk](https://www.rubick.com/work-with-me/).
