Presenter pattern [blog.jayfields.com]

Very interesting. When your logic gets complex enough, this is a way of simplifying your controllers by pushing the logic into its own class instead of into the model. It makes sense for encapsulating view state.

We've done this at work -- I just didn't know what it was called.

Continuous deployment, continuous builds [eng.kaching.com]

I think this is the future. Get your engineering practices in order so you can deploy code quickly. A practice like this does force you to do things right: have full test cases, test code carefully, etc...
